Resplendent in all its refurbished Art Deco glory, the Light Brigade Hotel is ideally situated in the heart of bustling Oxford St and offers a four-level experience like no other. The Brigade Bar; a thriving ground floor sports bar that beams current sporting games and competitions on big screens from around the country and the world, the Brigade Bistro with its relaxed vibe and casual dining experience, and the Brigade Lounge, an intimate and stylish 1920’s Art Deco bar perfect for catching up with friends for cocktails. And then there is the cherry (literally) on top; the Rooftop Terrace that takes this iconic family-run pub to another level – and when we say level we mean top floor baby!

It doesn’t matter if you’re a Carrie Bradshaw wannabe meeting up with the girls for lunch or working in the area with limited time for a quick bite, the Light Brigade’s Bar and Rooftop level has a tasty new value-for-money menu, just for you! Check out the gastronomical line-up that will have you salivating like Pavlov’s Dog every midday during the week until 3pm!
Wanting that south of the border feeling? Try the Pulled Pork Tacos with a generous 2 tacos per serving of pineapple and corn salsa, topped with coriander.
Going South side? The Fried Chicken Burger is a delicious house-recipe fried chicken with cheese, slaw, and ranch sauce that accompanies a generous serving of fries, guaranteeing to leave no visitor hungry.
All hail the new Caesar Salad with its house-cured bacon, white anchovy, croutons, parmesan and topped with a soft-boiled egg. With or without Chicken, it’s your choice!
The vegetarian’s delight this season has to be the Summer Linguine with its flavoursome mix of cherry tomatoes, artichokes, mascarpone, salsa verde and pecorino, light and delicious!
The old classic Fish & Chips is as traditional and hearty as they come! Beer battered flathead, tartare sauce and malt vinegar salt. Yum!
You don’t get better dining value that the Minute Rump Steak and Chips which a side of pickled onion, cherry tomato and rocket salad, and served with a rich red wine butter or gravy.
And you can’t go wrong with a signature wood-fired pizza, like the Wood-Roasted Ham & Pineapple Pizza in all its nuanced splendour of mozzarella, chilli oil and shallots is no exception.
Looking for another Vegetarian option? The Margherita pizza is a classic choice with mozzarella and basil, simple but not without a punch of flavour on the palette.
